RADNOR, Pa. (May 12, 2022) – Appellate Law Group LLC is pleased to announce that founder Virginia Hinrichs McMichael has received the Lynette Norton Award from the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) Commission on Women in the Profession. The award recognizes and encourages female attorneys who excel in litigation skills and who are devoted to mentoring female lawyers. McMichael was presented with the award on May 11 at the Commission on Women in the Profession Annual Conference held as part of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Annual Meeting in Hershey.
The Norton Award was created in memory of Lynette Norton, a founding member of the PBA Commission on Women in the Profession who died in 2002. Norton was an advocate for young women in the legal profession and worked to promote literacy and women’s rights.
“I am honored to receive the Lynette Norton Award and to be recognized by my peers for my mentorship and body of work as a litigator,” said McMichael. “I have dedicated my career to ensuring clients receive the vigorous representation they deserve throughout the appellate process and enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with young women litigators. I deeply appreciate this recognition from the PBA.”
