The Pennsylvania Courts have taken a leap into the modern world with their recently-launched app for iPhones.  The PAeDocket app, which the courts say is “the first state-level mobile app for finding court dockets,” provides results about cases, including charges, court dates, upcoming hearings and status of cases.  Users can search for information by case number, participant name, organization name, offense tracking number, police incident or complaint number, and state ID number.

The app is available on the iTunes store under “PAeDocket.”  A full version of the website is available at www.pacourts.us.

Alas, those of us who use Android-based systems have to wait until the release of the Android version later in the year.

Check it out and let me know what you think of the new app.
